Most frameless doors are considered custom installations because they feature special hardware for mounting. The exact amount depends on three things. The glass features a special chemical coating on the inside of the shower glass called spot guard. Installing a glass shower door is a process that requires a lot of patience.

For the frame you ll need to install tracks at the bottom sides and top of your shower opening using sealant and screws. Sliding glass shower or bathtub doors sometimes referred to as bypass shower doors are shower doors installed using a track system. Our shower doors are customized for your space so having a new one ordered fabricated and delivered could take up to 3 weeks. This coating is applied at the factory using a special application process that cleans the glass prepares the glass surface and bakes the coating onto the glass.

However the actual installation of your new shower door can be completed by our professional installers in 2 3 hours. The installation process will vary depending on whether you re installing a swinging or sliding glass door but either way you ll need to start by assembling a frame for the door.
