Gmc Sierra Third Brake Light Not Working

I m hoping for an oddly named fuse or relay.

I can not interpret fues box lables to check fuses. 2003 gmc sierra 3500 6 0 v8 gas. My interior light and cargo light bulbs work. Chevy truck forum silverado sierra gmc truck forums.

I checked the following fuses for current. Feb 23 2014 3 08am. If your third brake light works either way but the rear brake lights stop working when the truck is on its a faulty ground wire to the stop lamp relay. Third brake light not working.

I think they are supposed to. I m not sure if it s the switches in the door jamb a fuse or what. Other things use that ground when the key is on so its not strong enough then to activate the armature within the relay. Lol i haven t located a bad fuse.

Interior fuses 12 stoplamps center high mounted stoplamp worked fine. I noticed the third brake light is not working. If electrical current is reaching the switch but the lights are not working even if the switch is in good condition follow the current flow with your test light to the stop lamps and look for a possible open or short in the circuit. The possible reasons for brake lights not working but tail lights are.

None of the lights come on when i open my doors. Blown out light bulbs are the most common reason for why the brake lights not working but the tail lights are. That s my next project. 3rd brake light and cargo lights not working.

Hi i just bought a 2009 chevrolet silverado 1500. Remove the screws from the bulb lens which you can access through the trunk or see your vehicle repair manual to get the exact location.
